Still Looking In That Mirror

And I still sit infront of the mirror

One Year Ago

The sadness in those eyes is getting harder to see She can disguise it and what she truly feels Times are changing around her People are taking an interest Thoughts are still tumbling Feelings all tied in a knot She no longer hangs on the thinnest of strings There is always someone to talk to

She stands straighter despite the load growing She's finding her feet and standing firm She is slowly finding herself And is coming out of her shell People know she is vulnerable and weak sometimes But the sadness still lingers And her true feelings won't be expressed for a while yet
