There is a plain little wild flower By the side of the road With all her hopes and fears But nobody cares Being plain has its advantages Nobody thinks to pick her

And take her from her home She blooms every winter And hibernates in the spring The plain bloom keeps her stable She is reliable and strong But she is still by herself as the sun sets
